Frequently Asked Questions: Do I have to purchase tickets in advance? Tickets must be purchased in advance at Zerve, and tours often sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the day and time you prefer, please book well in advance. Tickets can be purchased with either a Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Where does the tour end? The tour ends at the same place where it begins (Marion Square), so you should have no problem getting back to your car. How long does the tour last? The tour is approximately 75 minutes long, but the duration can vary slightly depending on the pace of the group. How much will we walk? We will cover approximately 3/4 of a mile at a leisurely pace. Is this tour appropriate for my child? Yes, the language and stories of the tour are appropriate for children and offer a fascinating way to learn about Charleston. Please consider your child's ability to listen respectfully to the tour guide. What is the price of a child's ticket? Children ages 5 and under are free. Tickets for children between 6 and 12 years of age are $12.00. Will I see a ghost? Maybe, but ghost sightings are not guaranteed, and they are very rare! What happens if it rains? The tour will run rain or shine. However, in the event of a storm or unsafe weather, we may contact you up to an hour before the tour about rescheduling possibilities. Please do dress appropriately for the day's weather! Is the tour accessible for wheelchairs and strollers? Yes. However, Charleston is an old city and some sidewalks are uneven. If you need assistance, we will help you! Why does this tour stand out from all the rest? The Haunted Charleston Tour is the only walking tour north of Market Street. It is also the only tour based off Ed Macy's best selling book "Haunted Charleston". Are restrooms available? Unfortunately, there are no designated restroom stops during the tour. Please use the restroom before or after the tour! Can I bring my camera? Yes! Please feel free to capture your memories and who knows what else! Can I bring my own food and beverages? We recommend that guests bring a bottle of water, but please do not bring food with you on the tour because it may be distracting to our other guests. Make sure to eat something before or after the tour! Will I be able to buy souvenirs or snacks along the way? Unfortunately, time does not permit stops for food or souvenirs.
